Entrepreneurs invited to participate in Q2 QuOTE Survey

Entrepreneurs in the Triangle region are invited to participate in the second 2015 Quarterly Outlook of Triangle Entrepreneurs (QuOTE) Survey. "This confidential survey has been streamlined and now takes about five minutes," said Lewis Sheats, director of the NC State Entrepreneurship Clinic.

This second quarterly survey will be open through Friday, April 24, 2015.

The QuOTE survey is conducted jointly by the NC State Entrepreneurship Clinic and Poole College's Department of Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MIE).

QuOTE Survey results help entrepreneurial companies in North Carolina’s Triangle region anticipate business decisions and plan for growth by providing an overall entrepreneurs’ economic outlook index based on businesses’ projected six-month sales, spending and employment figures. Over time, trends in this index can be viewed as indicating general optimism or pessimism about entrepreneurship in the Triangle.

Survey responses are analyzed by Jeff Pollack, an assistant professor in Poole College’s MIE department. Pollock developed the survey based on a survey of large companies conducted nationally by the Business Roundtable, an association of CEOs of American companies. Previous survey results are on the The Entrepreneurship Collaborative (TEC) website. The NC State Entrepreneurship Clinic is an outreach of TEC and the Poole College of Management.
