Jon Pershke joins NC State Poole College of Management Advisory Board

The Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University announces the appointment of Jon Pershke, vice president of Think Business Group, Strategy and Transformation at Lenovo, to the Poole College Advisory Board.

Pershke is responsible for strategy development, project management, market intelligence, mergers and acquisitions, competitive technical evaluation, and transformation initiatives across Lenovo’s Think product lines worldwide.

Prior to joining Lenovo, Pershke served as vice president and general management of fulllfillment solutions for Celestica/MSL. His division within this organization was an international provider of “last touch” supply chain services including assembly, customization, configuration, warehousing, order fulfillment, logistics, and after-market services in support of regional customers. Pershke established a greenfield fulfilment center in Mexico to support high volume printer fulfillment.

He previously was vice president and general manager at Solectron in Charlotte, N.C., and held supply chain and management positions at IBM.

Pershke received his master in management of technology degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota. He lives with his wife and daughters in Raleigh, N.C.
