Mark Templeton, Citrix president and CEO, to present October 14 Wells Fargo Executive Series talk

Mark Templeton, president and chief executive officer of Citrix, will present the October 14, 2015, Wells Fargo Executive Series talk at the NC State Poole College of Management.

He will speak on the topic, “Leading from the Front” from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Poole College, in 3400 Nelson Hall. Poole College is located at 2801 Founders Drive, at the corner of Hillsborough Street and Dan Allen Drive in Raleigh.

The Poole College of Management has hosted the Wells Fargo Executive Series for over a decade, providing students and the public an opportunity to hear from some of the world’s leading executives about leadership as expressed in the course of their careers. There is no charge to attend, but registration is requested. NC State students attending are asked to bring their student ID so they can check in at the door.

A popular and provocative speaker, Templeton has shared his perspective and technology vision with audiences at events such as CIO 100 and Interop. He leads the Citrix vision for a software-defined workplace, where virtualization, mobility management, networking and SaaS solutions are united to enable new ways for businesses and people to work better. He guides the unique Citrix culture by emphasizing core values of conviction, humility, integrity and respect.

Templeton joined Citrix in 1995 as vice president of marketing, prior to the company’s initial public offering. He was appointed president in 1998 and chief executive officer in 2001. Under his leadership, Citrix has been transformed from a $15 million organization with one product, one customer segment and one go-to-market path, to a global powerhouse with annual revenues of $3.14 billion and 100 million users worldwide. Today, Citrix is a leader in mobile workspaces, providing virtualization, mobility management, networking and cloud services to enable new ways to work better.
