The annual Shack-a-thon is on; Poole College’s goal is $7,500

Restaurant nights, cookie sales and more are among the options for supporters of Poole College’s Shack-a-Thon team this year. The Poole team’s goal is to raise at least $7,500 to help NC State’s Habitat for Humanity chapter achieve its campus-wide goal of $65,000 for this year. 

As of 5 p.m. Monday, September 28, Poole College's team had raised $4,650.

Poole College’s team this year partnered with several local restaurants for fundraiser nights, including:

• Wicked Taco on Monday night
• El Cerro, September 22, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Show your receipt when paying and say your purchase was to support the Poole Shack.
• Jersey Mike’s on Friday, September 25, 5:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m. 

Poole Shack members have also been selling cupcakes, cookies and raffle tickets for a variety of items. Stop by the booth to see what’s available throughout the day. And, of course, you can click here to donate online to the Poole College Shack team – and to watch their progress toward their goal. 

The last day to donate online is Friday, October 2, 2015.
