ACC 600
There will not be an ACC 600 class on Thursday, August 16. This class typically meets just once a week on Tuesdays. The first class will be Tuesday, August 21.
PARKING PERMITS
Tuesday, July 10 is the day to purchase your parking permit. This can be done online and permits are given out on a first come first serve basis until sold out. ORIENTATION
TUTORS NEEDED - Summer II & Fall
The ASPSA (Academic Support Program for Student Athletes) is looking for ACC 200 and 210 tutors for this summer II and fall.

NC State now uses the gmail interface for all email. You can access it by logging in at gmail.com with your NC State email address and password.
MAC Orientation will be held on Friday, August 17th, from 8:00am - 4:00pm at the Talley Student Center. Attendance is required by all MAC students. More details will be sent out as we get closer to August.
Andrea keeps a running list of students interested in tutoring undergraduates. If you would be interested now or during the acadmic year email her (andrea_young@ncsu.edu) and you will be added to the list. Indicate any class preferences. Right now there is a need for someone to tutor a student in ACC 311 during Summer II.
Must have at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average, demonstrate proficiency in coursework and/or have received a B+ or higher in the courses selected to tutor. Must abide by North Carolina State University, NCAA and ASPSA rules and regulations. Must be able to teach academic success strategies to a diverse student population in a one-on-one or small group setting. Must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and have skills to develop written reports. Must be attentive to detail and accurate in record keeping. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Preference can be given to individuals who have tutoring experience or other educational qualifications.
