Quick Facts
Part time schedules to fit your needs.
The NC State MBA offers Full-time and Professional program options. Typically, you will spend two to three hours studying for every hour that you’re in the classroom. You will spend some of that time working with classmates and team members on projects.
Professional MBA program
The Professional MBA program was designed for those who want to work toward an MBA degree part time while continuing to work during the daytime. You can complete your program in as little as 21 months by attending two evening classes per week during the fall, spring, and summer sessions (with some weekend classes incorporated).
The college offers the Professional MBA at two locations: on the NC State main campus in Raleigh, and at the college’s remote location in the Research Triangle Park. Applicants may choose between the two locations during the application process. Students taking classes at the main campus may complete all their coursework there. The RTP campus offers all core courses and select concentration courses. Those who wish to earn a concentration not offered at the RTP may take this coursework on the main campus.
Both the Full-time and Professional programs are taught by the college’s graduate faculty and offer the full range of opportunities for our students. Professional program students frequently find that they are able to apply what they are learning at work, often the day they learn it. This helps them bring real value back to their companies immediately.
