Individualized Apparel Group
Joe Blair is President and Chairman of the Individualized Apparel Group, the largest maker of customized shirts and suits in the world. The company has three divisions- IAG clothing brands, IAG home textiles and Gitman shirts and neckties. Joe began his retail career with the Custom Shop in 1975 as training manager and managed the NYC Madison Avenue location. He joined Individualized Shirts in 1985 as Northeast Sales Manager, was promoted to Vice President-Sales in 1988 and to President and CEO in 1991. In 1996, he assumed additional responsibility for all IAG custom clothing. He was named President and Chairman of the Individualized Apparel Group in 2004.
Joe was born and raised in New York City. His parents owned a garment manufacturing business where he worked summers. His grandparents owned three retail shoe stores. Joe graduated from Hunter College in New York City. He resides with his family in Fort Lee, New Jersey and Fort Myers, Florida.
