Why did you choose the NC State GLAM program for your graduate education?
I found a passion for luxury and working in that industry. The unique relationship between luxury companies and their consumers is what really drew me!

How did your experience in the program contribute to your professional achievements and successes?
I believe that my graduate experience is what helped me to stand out from the other applicants at Condé Nast. I work with luxury advertisers often, so being able to understand what they are trying to achieve has been instrumental in my position.

What did you enjoy most about your time in the GLAM program?
Spending time with my classmates and traveling.

What are a few of the most impactful classes/lessons you learned during your time at NC State?
Any class where we did case studies for actual luxury companies was super impactful. It helped me to start thinking like someone working in that industry and that mindset transcended into all other classes.

What are your lasting impressions of the GLAM program?
Going into this master’s program is still one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It was an engaging, educational and fun year. It made me an expert about an industry I previously had no knowledge about.

What advice do you have for prospective GLAM students?
This program is full of opportunity and there is so much to learn and so much this program can teach you if you are willing, so take every opportunity provided!

Could you give a brief explanation of your current line of work, and what has led you to it?
I work in the digital advertising space which is a growing industry. Everyone is going digital and it is exciting to be on the front line of digital expansion for a company like Condé Nast, which is traditionally a print first company.

What do you believe is your most interesting accomplishment since graduation?
Becoming a GLAM board member!

What are your goals and plans for the future?
To continue working in or with the luxury industry and hopefully travel some with work!
