Great networking

What did you enjoy most about your time in the GLAM program?
Studying in two different countries with two different study/learning approaches

What do you miss most now that you have graduated?
Having access to the resources given by the school (luxury reports, networking etc…)

What are a few of the most impactful classes/lessons you learned during your time in the program?
Researching for my thesis (building amazing network and learning from first hand experience)

What advice would you give for prospective and current students who are interested in your industry/profession?
Pay a lot of attention to how the retail/fashion industry is being disrupted and be on top of that disruption

Could you give a brief explanation of your current line of work, and what has led you to it?
I am a partner at UPTON (uptonbelts.com) – We started as an online luxury leather goods company and we now have an innovative retail concept in Nolita, New York where very few weeks we feature new brands as pop ups. We have worked with emerging startups (like THEY sneakers, Dirty Lemon drink or Casper) all the way to major companies like Nordstrom or TopShop.

What do you believe is your most interesting accomplishment since graduation?
Founding my company. It was an amazing life lesson.
