For-Credit Internships

Students who choose a for-credit internship program are eligible to receive academic credit that they can use towards their free elective requirements. In addition to the internship placement experience, for-credit internships are usually accompanied by a required online course or seminar.

  •  To apply for the academic-credit, complete the following steps: 
    1. Submit an application through NC State in your PackAbroad Portal. This includes your Course Approval Form and admin fee.
      • You must submit your Course Approval Form to our office via email at poole_global@ncsu.edu. Once signed, we will upload it to your MyPackAbroad account. You will get a notification when it has been checked off your checklist.

    2. Submit CAPA’s application directly through their website

CIS Abroad

  • Earn 3 credits
