{"id":179,"date":"2021-08-01T23:46:19","date_gmt":"2021-08-01T23:46:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/poole.ncsu.edu\/globalnew\/?page_id=179"},"modified":"2023-09-28T17:44:57","modified_gmt":"2023-09-28T17:44:57","slug":"admissions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/poole.ncsu.edu\/global\/ddp\/ibdd\/admissions\/","title":{"rendered":"Admissions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admissions Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to being admitted to the Poole College, students must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Demonstrate a commitment to becoming conversationally fluent in the desired language track.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meet with the Director of Global Programs, Mr. Robert Sandruck, for an informational interview<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit NC&nbsp;State and take the foreign language placement test or complete the AP test in designated language before attending NC State.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once admitted to the program students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to go abroad to the partner school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advanced Placement\/IB Scores<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who take AP\/IB courses&nbsp;during high school are encourage to take the subject matter tests for the courses.
