From time spent in both S\u00e3o Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, students will discover both wild wonders and bustling metropolitan areas. The course will provide students with the opportunity to explore the historic, economic and business context of the country as well as a foundational understanding of global sustainability-related business challenges, opportunities and strategies. The course includes visits to companies in Sao Paulo and Rio with a range of business models from certified B Corporations, to small social enterprises as well as large, multinational businesses. This course also counts towards the <strong>practicum requirement <\/strong>for the Jenkins MBA and counts towards the <a href=\"https:\/\/mba.ncsu.edu\/customize-your-program\/certificates\/business-sustainability-certificate\/\">Business Sustainability Certificate<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sample Itinerary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a sample itinerary from the <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/12gPdPqg99HYcozgVTLrBukkEYL0vyLIx\/view?usp=drive_link\">Summer 2026 program<\/a>.<em>*Details are subject to change for the 2027 program<\/em>. The finalized intinerary will be shared with participants as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You should plan to arrive in Sao Paulo on Saturday, June 12th, which means you will need to depart the US on Friday June 11.
