BUS 370 |<\/strong> Operations and Supply Chain Management<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Concepts in planning, controlling, and managing the operations function of manufacturing and service firms. Topics include operations strategy, process choice decisions, forecasting, production planning and control, and trends in operations management. Common tools for informed decision-making in these areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BUS 340 | Information Technology<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fundamentals of information systems development and use in organizational setting. Information systems (IS), concepts, hardware, software, telecommunications, database management. IS development, applications and management in telecommunications, database management, various business processes, global issues, security and ethical challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M 380 | Doing Business in Japan<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This experiential course combines in-class learning with out-of-classroom experiences to learn how business is done internationally from multiple perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*The M 380 course fulfills 3 credits of the interdisciplinary degree requirements for all NC State students. In addition, it counts as an elective for the business administration minor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
