Q: Why did you choose the Alexander Hamilton Scholars program?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A: I wanted to pair my International Studies degree with something more analytical, and the program offered that balance. Many of my friends were also interested, which made joining feel like a natural and exciting choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What is your favorite thing about the program?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A: The program is the perfect mix of soft skills and hard skills. It sets you up for success no matter what career path you pursue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What has been your favorite Alexander Hamilton Scholars event? Why?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A: My favorite event was our Friendsgiving celebration. I loved seeing the variety of food everyone brought and how it highlighted the community we\u2019ve built together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What was your favorite thing about studying abroad?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A: The best part was the people I met, both my cohort and the citizens of another country. Those connections helped me form close friendships that I\u2019ll carry with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: Were you surprised by anything during your time abroad?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A: I was surprised by how quickly my cohort bonded. One moment we hardly knew each other, and the next we felt like family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: Did you explore any other locations while you were studying abroad?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A: Yes, we traveled to Mendoza, Argentina, which is known for its wine-making region. The smaller city felt more authentically Argentinian than Buenos Aires, and it was such a rich cultural experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What did studying abroad teach you about yourself?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A: Studying abroad taught me that I can be adventurous. I embraced random trips and new experiences, which pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: How has being a part of the program prepared you for your future career?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A: Not many people graduate with both soft and hard skills, but AHS emphasizes developing both. That combination gives me a real advantage as I prepare for my career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What advice do you have for future Alexander Hamilton Scholars students?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A: You truly get out what you put into the program. Attend events, take on leadership opportunities, and you\u2019ll find the experience incredibly rewarding.<\/p>\n\n\n
