Dr. Jeffrey Pollack, assistant professor of entrepreneurship at Poole College, will present this seminar, providing participants the tools and tactics needed to build the business case for a new idea and formulating the communication approach to influence others. This new series of half-day workshops provides a low-cost way to advance the analytic, leadership and innovation capabilities of today's early career professionals and developing leaders. Sessions will be highly interactive, using simulations, role plays and real projects to create an active learning environment, said Dan McGurrin, director of NC State Executive Education.
A new seminar is being offered each month. The topic for the March 18 seminar is “Design Thinking: Experience Innovation,” presented by Dr. Leigh Shamblin, NC State Executive Education program director.
