Arnette Ejire Joins NC State Poole College of Management

She joins the college with over 20 years of experience in budgeting and accounting at NC State University, and has been instrumental in identifying strategic budget cuts to minimize the impact on operational and staffing goals. Most recently, she served as director of finance and administration for the university’s Office of the Vice Chancellor for Advancement. In that position, she served as a member of the senior leadership team to the vice chancellor, managed financial and accounting functions for University Advancement, and hired and supervised accounting and administrative support staff.

Ejire earned her master’s degree in business administration from Meredith College in 1990. She also is an alumna of NC State’s Poole College of Management, having earned a bachelor’s degree in business management in 1998 and a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1987, and is an alumna of the college’s Alpha Kappa Psi

She fills a vacancy in the college created with the retirement of Joe Bertha, who has served as the college’s assistant dean of budget and finance since it was established in 1992 and in a related position at NC State prior to that.
