Ashley Black Joins Poole College’s Executive Programs Team

The Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University announces the appointment of Ashley Black as program manager for North Carolina State Executive Programs (NCSEE), effective June 3, 2013. Black will provide logistics and faculty support for Poole College’s custom, collaboratories, and open enrollment executive programs, delivered through NCSEE.

Black previously was a campaign fellow for the United Way of the Bay Area, in San Francisco, Calif., providing support for the agency’s annual giving campaigns. She also worked in the hospitality industry, providing event management and other support. Black also was a volunteer campaign coordinator and lead interpreter for the United Methodist Bolivia Service Team in Montero, Bolivia, and has been active with other service organizations.

She received her bachelor’s degree in international business with a minor in political science and Spanish language from the College of Charleston, S.C., in 2009. Black studied abroad at the Universidad Diego Portales in Santiago, Chile, in 2006, and is fluent in Spanish.
