Christine Ferrell Joins NC State Poole College Jenkins MBA Program as Marketing Director

Christine Ferrell has joined the NC State Poole University College of Management as director of marketing for the college’s Jenkins graduate management programs, effective July 29, 2013.

She previously was director of marketing and business development for the Executive MBA and online MBA@UNC programs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

In her new role at Poole College, Ferrell will be responsible for marketing strategy and execution and online communications for the Jenkins graduate management programs, including the Jenkins MBA, Master of Global Innovation Management and Global Luxury Management programs. 

“We are all very excited to welcome Christine to the NC State Poole College and our Jenkins Graduate School,” said Dr. Steve Allen, associate dean for research and the Jenkins graduate programs at Poole College. “With her significant experience in the MBA marketplace and the Research Triangle market, she is a perfect fit for our current strategic marketing needs.”

Ferrell brings to her new role nearly 15 years’ experience in program management and marketing positions, including product development at Progress Energy, interactive marketing and business development at LendingTree.com, and account management at the McKinney advertising agency.

She received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication and political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her MBA from the Schools of Business at Wake Forest University.

Ferrell lives in Chapel Hill, N.C. with her husband and daughters.
