Elevator Pitch Scholarship Competition
Looking for the next opportunity to engage yourself in your career? The NC State Poole College of Management is ready to prepare you for your next step as an aspiring business professional with a new Elevator Pitch Scholarship Competition. This competition, sponsored by Norfolk Southern, is open to undergraduates in the Poole College of Management. Students may participate online through February 29, 11:55 PM.
The online competition will help students prepare for interviews and future employment by having students practice clear, concise, and effective communication skills, as well as learn how to make satisfactory first impressions and create professional demeanors.
The process is quite simple. To get started:
- Login to Optimal Resume
- Record a 1.5-2.5 minute video of your creative and distinct elevator pitch. This is your opportunity to sell yourself to employers.
- That’s it!
First place winners will receive $500; second, $250; third, $100. Funds will be directly deposited into each winning student’s university account via the Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid.
