“Value Propositions and Elevator Speeches” is the first half-day seminar in the new FastTrack series of professional and leadership development seminars being offered by NC State Executive Education at the NC State University Poole College of Management.

This session will be held Friday, February 12, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the James B. Hunt Jr., Library on NC State’s Centennial Campus.

Dr. Jeffrey Pollack, assistant professor of entrepreneurship at Poole College, will present this seminar, providing participants the tools and tactics needed to build the business case for a new idea and formulating the communication approach to influence others. The cost of this seminar is $300; $275 for NC State alumni. Register at go.ncsu.edu/fasttrack.

This new series of half-day workshops provides a low-cost way to advance the analytic, leadership and innovation capabilities of today's early career professionals and developing leaders.  Sessions will be highly interactive, using simulations, role plays and real projects to create an active learning environment, said Dan McGurrin, director of NC State Executive Education.

A new seminar is being offered each month. The topic for the March 18 seminar is “Design Thinking: Experience Innovation,” presented by Dr. Leigh Shamblin, NC State Executive Education program director.
