Hamilton Scholars Fundraiser Earns $900

The $900 earned through the raffle tickets sales are helping to support Hamilton Scholars’ events, such as a Taste of Raleigh social that brought together Hamilton Scholars and international students in the College of Management last fall, and an end of semester cookout and baseball game outing this spring. Funds raised are also helping to support scholarships for Hamilton Scholars’ study abroad experiences. Sandra Gibson {photo, right], scheduling officer in the college’s Office of Undergraduate Programs, drew the winning tickets.

“As our first fundraising effort, this Hamilton Scholar raffle has been a success,” said Michelle Koehler, academic advisor in the College of Management. “The fundraising committee chair, Jacqueline Ritchie, has done an outstanding job of coordinating this effort. We all greatly appreciate the NC State faculty, staff, and students, as well as the family of Hamilton Scholars, who supported the raffle by buying tickets.”

Following are this year’s raffle prize winners.
