International Students join in tailgate tradition

What better way for international students to experience NC State and its southern hospitality than to join in some school spirit and camaraderie at a red and white tailgate, complete with games of corn hole and football.

That's just what took place on the first Saturday in September, when the Poole College of Management – with the help of the Alexander Hamilton Scholars – hosted its first-ever tailgate to welcome international students to the college. The international students came to the tailgate early, then and stayed ‘til the wolf howled to begin the game. They celebrated with the rest of the fans as the Wolfpack pulled out a win against Richmond.
