Jenkins MBA Program Welcomes New Students

Among those greeting the new students Monday morning was Ira R. Weiss, dean of Poole College, and representatives of the Jenkins MBA program’s student organizations – the Case Competition Club, Net Impact, National Association of Women MBAs and the MBA Student Association.

The new students will be in orientation activities at Nelson Hall through Thursday, learning about the college’s academic requirements, cross-cultural communications, career resources and case analysis guidelines, among other things. Also, current students will be sharing insight on how to ‘Survive an MBA Program’ on Wednesday, followed by a team building challenge course experience.

On Saturday, August 13, 74 students entering the part-time Jenkins MBA program for working professionals will participate in a one-day orientation session at Nelson Hall.

Another group of students – the first cohort in the new Jenkins Online MBA – has been completing a virtual orientation program for the past five weeks, learning to use the technology and tools that will drive their online learning experience.
