MAC Students Receive Fellowships

The MAC Fellowship Program is made possible through a partnership between sponsoring CPA firms, the NC State University Graduate School, and the NC State College of Managementâs Department of Accounting.

âWe appreciate the support so many leading firms provide to our students,â said Kathy Krawczyk, professor of accounting in the College of Management and director of the MAC Program. âTheir support helps us attract top students from around the country to our program, bringing a broader perspective to the classroom experience.”

The fellowships provide financial support for educational expenses, up to $31,500. This includes tuition assistance plus a graduate student stipend. Two types of fellowships are available, firm-sponsored and academic fellowships. The firm-sponsored fellowships come with an employment offer, Krawczyk explained. Hankins is one of the students who received a firm-sponsored fellowship. She speaks about her decision to come to the NC State Jenkins MAC Program in this student profile.

Students interested in being considered for MAC Fellowships must apply to the MAC Program by the February 1 deadline. Students are selected based on their scholarship, GMAT score, and leadership, including service, experience, presence and integrity.
