Majors and Concentration Fair

Students can meet with faculty in the college’s various degree and concentration areas in an informal information fair setting, to receive up-to-date information related to college’s various curriculum options. They may also talk one-on-one with faculty members who can provide additional information about the courses in their academic disciplines.

“If you want to know more about career options, entry-level jobs, what it takes to be a success in the field, different courses, clubs, or internships, don’t be afraid to ask a faculty member,” said Shannon Davis, associate dean for undergraduate programs in the College of Management. “This event provides our students a chance to meet with representatives from all our undergraduate programs in one place, to ask questions that can help them make informed decisions about their academic and career paths. Participants will definitely get more information and insight than is possible with a fact sheet or flier about a program, and will come away with a better understanding of what to select when spring registration gets under way in October.”

Professional advising staff will also be available to answer student questions about curriculum requirements, and about declaring majors and concentrations.
