MGIM Program Receives Additional Funding

The fund has awarded an additional $20,000 to both NC State University and MGIM’s partner institution, Université Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille III, based on the initial success of the program. The Partner University Fund had awarded $40,000 to help establish the MGIM dual degree program, which is now teaching its first cohort of students.

When announcing the second award, the Fund’s Executive Director Pascal Delisle, said: “The committee specifically appreciates the evolution of the institutional commitment between NC State and IAE, as demonstrated by the strong drive towards this new dual Master’s Degree and made possible by a deep and genuine collaboration between faculty and administrators at both institutions.”

David H. Henard, academic director of the MGIM Program and director of International Programs for NC State’s College of Management, which includes the Jenkins Graduate School, said that these funds “will enable both institutions to continue attracting top quality candidates from around the world and promoting international faculty exchanges.”

The MGIM program attracts students from around the world for instruction in both France and the United States. The one-year program awards master’s degrees from NC State University and the Université Paul Cézanne.

The curriculum is designed to give engineering, science and other technology-oriented students a strong exposure to core business management skills while providing in-depth exposure to a host of global innovation management issues. It was designed specifically for students who are looking to create a personal competitive advantage for today’s global job market.
