College of Management Hosting International Partnership of Business Schools this Week

The college joined the IPBS in November 2009 as part of its ongoing commitment to extend international business education opportunities for its students.

Representatives of two of the international schools are holding information sessions March 3 and March 4 for NC State College of Management students interested in learning about their international business programs. Sarah Hannawi, a student in the college’s Master of Global Innovation Management program, coordinated the sessions and provides the following details:

“The IPBS board holds three organizational and planning meeting each year on location at its partner schools, and we are pleased to welcome our IPBS partners to Raleigh and the NC State College of Management for this meeting,” said Dr. Ira R. Weiss, dean of the college.

Among participants in this week’s meetings are Bernard Pierce, IPBS president; Michel Fish, IPBS administrator; Francois Bonvalent, secretary; and Thomas Moore, treasurer. Also attending are the directors and deans of programs from the IPBS partner programs.
