NC State Jenkins MBA Launches Fellowship Programs in Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management

Through the fellowship programs, students will receive full tuition and health insurance, along with a generous stipend of $12,000 per year. The fellows will be expected to work closely with faculty and partner companies on applied research projects in their respective disciplines.

Supply Chain Management Fellows

Supply chain management fellows will be assigned to a faculty mentor to work on applied research projects sponsored by corporate partners in the college’s Supply Chain Resource Cooperative (SCRC). The fellows will be invited to SCRC’s December and April meetings and will be expected to take a summer internship with an SCRC partner company.

Entrepreneurship Fellows

Entrepreneurship fellows will complete a course on screening technologies for commercial potential and one on developing a business plan for a new technology during their first academic year of residence in the Jenkins MBA program. During their summer internship and their second year in the program, fellows will work with entrepreneurship faculty to examine the commercial potential of emerging technologies. During the spring of their second year, they will complete an introductory course in entrepreneurship and develop a strategic plan for a local growth venture. Throughout their training, students will work with a faculty mentor and professional mentors from the entrepreneurial community who will help them explore opportunities and get to know people with the ability to provide a variety of useful resources.
