NCSU | SHRM Announces 2012-13 Officers

The student chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management at the NC State University Poole
College of Management announced officers who will lead the chapter in the 2012-13 academic year. Thomas Payne, a junior in business administration with a concentration in human resources and a minor in psychology, is the new president of the NCSU | SHRM chapter.

“The NCSU | SHRM chapter allows students who share the same passion, not only for human resources but a variety of disciplines, to grow and develop professionally with a diverse group of members,” Payne said. He encourages students to get involved in SHRM and other student organizations early in their academic career, “to take advantage of the platform for opportunity” they provide.
