Ninety companies attending Poole College Career, Internship Fair Oct. 16

Ninety companies have registered for the Poole College of Management's Fall Career and Internship Fair, to be held Wednesday, October 16, at the NC State McKimmon Center. That is significantly higher than prior years, said Brian Newton, director of career development for Poole College's Office of Undergraduate Programs. 

On Tuesday evening, 25 companies recruting for supply chain positions joined in a preview event held at Poole College's Nelson Hall, drawing more than a hundred Poole College undergraduate and Jenkins graduate students.

"We are pleased to welcome this fall representatives from 12 companies that have not previously participated in our career fair," Newton said. The new recruiting companies are Cintas, Club Carr, LLC, E & J Gallow Winery, GUESS? Inc., Jacobsen, a Trexton Company, Mu Sigma Inc, NeoNova, Pilgrim's Pride Corporation, PNC Financial Services, Sam's Club, and Situs. 

The Poole College Career and Internship Fair will be open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. All students at NC State and alumni are welcome to attend. Students are asked to bring their student ID, and updated resumes. 

A shuttle bus will be running a route between Nelson Hall, with a stop at the Brooks Avenue side of the building, to McKimmon, from 9:30 until 3:30 p.m. The bus will wait 10 minutes at each location to pick up passengers.
