Poole College DECA Team Brings Home Honors from International Conference
Seventeen members of the Collegiate DECA chapter at NC State Poole College of Management competed in the International Career Development Conference in Salt
Lake City, April 21-24, 2012.
Two received first place in the Business Ethics category, William Burnet & Thomas Lamm in Business Ethics.
Eleven members of the chapter had placed in the top 15 in the finals for their respective competitions, and in the final round of competition, the following seven received top 10 awards:
- Sarah Buddo in Marketing Management
- Christian DiCosola in Retail Marketing Management
- Matt Kapadia and Michael Owen in International Marketing
- Brianne Lamm in Hotel and Lodging Management. She also had received top 15 role play and top 15 test scores in the preliminary finals
- Robert O’Neill and Hillary Stedman in Sports and Entertainment Marketing
Also placing as preliminary finalists were:
- Christian DiCosola in Retail Marketing Management
- Sarah Mazur in Accounting
- Mandy Scott in Marketing Management
