Poole College Peer Leaders Hosting Freshmen Welcome on August 16
“The is our major activity,” said Elliott Tomlinson, a Poole College senior in economics and member of the Peer Leaders.
The activities begin at 2 p.m. in Nelson Hall 3400, followed by ice breakers and other activities in break-out sessions where the students will meet with their professional advisors and Peer Leaders and begin to meet other students. All Poole College undergraduate students are assigned a professional advisor and a Peer Leader who will work with them throughout their time as Poole College undergraduate students.
The day’s programs conclude with games and ice cream in the Nelson Courtyard – located on the Brook Street side of Nelson Hall. Faculty and staff are encouraged to stop by from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., for some ice cream and a chance to meet the new students.
