Steve Allen to Moderate NC CEO Forum Panel

The NC CEO Forum, co-hosted by the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce, Summit Performance Systems and RDA Recruiters in association with Bayer CropScience, brings together top business leaders to discuss key topics occurring in the business world today. The theme for this year’s forum is, “The Triple Bottom Line: 21st Century Leadership in People, Planet and Profit.”

Allen will moderate a discussion on the topic of “Ingredients to Grow and Retain Green Companies in N.C.” Panelists are

  • Nick Hamon, vice president of product development and sustainable development for Bayer Environmental
  • ‘* Michael Chenard, director of environmental affairs for Lowes Home Improvement

  • Joan Siefert Rose, president of CED (formerly The Council for Entrepreneurial Development)
  • Arlan Peters, sustainability manager at Novozymes North America.

“I am honored to participate in the 2010 N.C. CEO Forum,” Allen said. “It is a unique opportunity to be able to hear the differing opinions of so many top business leaders on the opportunities, changes and challenges that businesses across the world are currently facing, especially when it comes to sustainability and green issues.” His panel session will be held from 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Keynote speakers at the N.C. CEO Forum include Ben & Jerry’s co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, and Cree’s chief executive officer and chairman Chuck Swoboda.
