Student AMA Chapter hosting Meet the Pros Nov. 15
The student American Marketing Association chapter at the NC State Poole College of Management is hosting a “Meet the Pros” networking event. This event, open to current members of the student AMA chapter, will take place Tuesday, November 15, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in 2402 Nelson Hall.
“We are always welcoming new members to the organization,” said Andrew Kocha, president. Students interested in joining prior to the event may contact Kocha or Megan Johnson, vice president, for membership details.
The goal of Meet the Pros is to help AMA members in their search for internships or jobs with firms in the Triangle-area marketing industry. Professionals from over 14 businesses are participating, and will be available to talk with students, answering questions and discussing opportunities.
Students are encouraged to research the participating companies prior to the event and to bring updated copies of their resumes. Business professional attire is recommended but not required. Refreshments will be provided.
