Photo of Tasha MartinTasha Martin has joined the development and external relations team at the NC State Poole College of Management where she will be working closely with alumni and friends of the college to partner together and secure private resources to address key academic priorities including student, faculty, and program support.

Martin brings over 16 years of successful annual fund and major gift fundraising experience in higher education including roles at Duke University, the University of Florida, the University of Central Florida (her alma mater), and at NC State University’s College of Engineering. She has coordinated annual giving campaigns and corporate sponsorships, and has extensive experience working with major gift donors. In her prior roles, she has worked both as a team member as part of a college unit, and also independently to fundraise for the entire institution. In her role at Poole College, she values the opportunity to return to focus on a college and work with its students, department heads, faculty, alumni, corporate partners and board members.

Martin will be working with Anya Reid, Poole College’s executive director of development and external relations, Scott Troutman, director of development and Vicki Rennecker-Nakayoshi, director of alumni relations and special events.

“We are very pleased to have Tasha join our development team. She will play a central role in creating an extensive program of engagement between the college and our external constituents – our alumni, friends or corporate partners – in order to drive private philanthropic support for our academic priorities,” said Dr. Ira R. Weiss, dean of the NC State Poole College of Management and Stephen P. Zelnak Jr. Chair.
