Xerox Employee Named CIMS Industrial Fellow

Xerox (NYSE:XRX) employee Santokh Badesha was recently named a 2013 CIMS Industrial Fellow by the Center for Innovation Management Studies (CIMS) at the North Carolina State University Poole College of Management in Raleigh, N.C. A resident of Pittsford, N.Y., Badesha is a Xerox Fellow and manager of open innovation at Xerox, roles he has held for 33 years.

The CIMS Industrial Fellow designation recognizes both Badesha’s collaboration with and support of CIMS and his work in the advancement of innovation management in general. CIMS Fellows are passionate, experienced, and knowledgeable of the true challenges related to the management of innovation within an organization, and their goals and perspective align with those of CIMS.

“I have been involved with CIMS since 2003 and have been a regular participant at their annual spring and fall meetings. Being a CIMS Fellow will provide me additional capability to build new partnership-enabling networks,” Badesha said. He was introduced as CIMS’s newest Industrial Fellow at the April 16 and 17, 2013, CIMS meeting in Raleigh.

Badesha is the 19th CIMS Fellow in the center's 29 year history, and the only person from Xerox to receive this recognition. CIMS currently has 19 industrial and academic fellows.
