The CliftonStrengths Assessment

Faculty and staff in the Poole College of Management are invited to complete the CliftonStrengths assessment. The CliftonStrengths assessment, formerly Clifton StrengthsFinder, helps you to discover what you naturally do best, learn how to develop your greatest talents and use your customized results to live your best life. Following the assessment, Leigh Shamblin, director of leadership in Poole College, will hold the debriefing sessions on Feb. 20 from 1:15 p.m.-2:45 p.m. and March 7 from 3-4:15 p.m. in Nelson 2405.

Registration Instructions

Start the CliftonStrengths Assessment

During the 30-40 minute assessment, you’ll see 177 paired statements and choose which one best describes you. The assessment measures your natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving and shares your top 5 out of 34 possible strengths.

  1. Navigate to the PCOM StrengthsQuest website at ncsu.gallup.com/application/strengthsquest#home
  2. If you have taken the Clifton StrengthsFinder (or StrengthsQuest) assessment before, click Link Existing Gallup Account and follow the instructions provided.
  3. If you have not yet taken the Clifton StrengthsQuest assessment:
    • on the Login page, click New Account below the Register heading.
    • On the Registration page, type your information in the available fields, select the “I have read and agree …” box, and then click Create Account.
    • You will receive an email confirming your registration. Click the link in the email message to complete your registration. Once completed, you can log in to the StrengthsQuest site using your username and password and take the assessment.

Sign-in Instructions

  1. Navigate to the PCOM StrengthsQuest website at ncsu.gallup.com/application/strengthsquest#home
  2. Below the Login page’s Login heading, type your username and password in the available fields, and then click Login.
  3. NOTE: If you cannot access your account, click the Forgot username/password link and follow the instructions on the Account Assistance page.
