NC State University is located in the state capital of Raleigh. "Famous for its proximity to great universities and as an incubator for cutting-edge tech firms, Raleigh has so much green space it's described as a park with a city in it," according to Money Magazine, which consistently ranks Raleigh on its Best Big Cities List. Raleigh offers big city hustle and bustle intertwined with southern hospitality.

When people talk about Raleigh, you may hear them mention the “Triangle.” This term refers to the fact that on a map, the cities of Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill form a triangle. Located within 20 miles of each other, each city has a unique ambiance. The Triangle offers something for everyone.
