What type of job would you like to have after completing the MAC Program? If you already have secured a job – where and what area?

I plan to join EY as a Risk Advisory Staff in the Charlotte office.

Do you have any advice or tips you would like to give prospective students looking at applying to MAC programs?

You should figure out a list of schools that interest you and research what each program has to offer (CPA pass rate, job placement rate, does the curriculum line up with the CPA Exam). You should look to apply as early as you can for these schools. You should also start studying for the GMAT and take it as soon as you can. Lastly, apply for MAC program scholarships as well as external scholarships.

Why did you choose the NC State MAC Program?

I did my undergrad studies at NC State, so I was already familiar with the professors and resources provided by the university. After doing more research into the MAC program, I was truly impressed by the program’s high rankings and job placement rate compared to other universities. I enjoyed my time doing undergrad at NC State and I wanted to stay around for one more year.

What are your expectations while attending the MAC Program?

I am expecting to enhance my knowledge in the field of accounting as well as receive strong preparation for the CPA exam.

What are you looking forward to the most while in the Program?

I look forward to building strong connections with other students in the MAC program that will hopefully last throughout our careers.
