What type of job would you like to have after completing the MAC Program? If you already have secured a job – where and what area?

Accepted an offer with Thomas, Judy and Tucker to work in their Tax department

Do you have any advice or tips you would like to give prospective students looking at applying to MAC programs?

Other than doing well in your accounting classes, it’s also important to have meaningful experiences outside the classroom. And think quality over quantity. If you can articulate the impact/value of 1 or 2 extracurricular experiences, that can go a long way in getting accepted into the MAC program, and will also open the door for scholarship opportunities.

Why did you choose the NC State MAC Program?

I heard great things about the program from people who have been through it. Also, because I did my undergrad at State, the familiarity with the faculty and campus was also comforting.

What are your expectations while attending the MAC Program?

I expect it to be my most challenging academic year. But through that, I anticipate learning a lot and ultimately being more prepared to enter the accounting profession because of the program.

What are you looking forward to the most while in the Program?

Getting to connect the dots between my past experience from working an accounting internship and what I’m learning in the classroom.
