Past work/leadership experience/activities in college

I have worked at a health club for the past five years as well as a bookkeeper for two start-up companies. I was fortunate enough to be able to gain leadership experience by participating in The Accounting Mentorship Program (AMP) at UNC Chapel Hill sponsored by Dixon Hughes Goodman.

My favorite and most time-consuming extracurricular activity in college was hiking over 700 miles of the Appalachian Trail.

What type of job would you like to have after completing the MAC Program? If you already have secured a job – where and what area?

I have accepted an offer with Deloitte in the Raleigh audit practice.

Do you have any advice or tips you would like to give prospective students looking at applying to MAC programs?

Study for and take the GMAT the summer before your senior year or during Christmas break.

Why did you choose the NC StateMAC Program?

I really liked the people I met and interacted with. I had the opportunity to work with many NCSU MAC graduates at Deloitte over the summer and they all spoke very highly of NCSU and their level of preparedness prior to entering into a full-time position.

While attending the MAC program, I hope to make lifelong connections and to pass the CPA exam.
