The Poole College of Management is on a mission to create an innovative and collaborative intellectual environment. By balancing industry and academia, Poole is developing and supporting leaders with entrepreneurial mindsets and the skills to solve our world’s problems.

The Poole Podcast will share research and ideas from inside the classroom from NC State faculty and explore how it’s being used in industry.

“This podcast series is another way in which we are able to grow our thought leadership initiative here in Poole College,” said Jenny Hammond, chief marketing and communications officer. “It’s exciting to be able to live out the ‘think and do’ spirit of NC State in these conversations. Bringing together faculty and industry partners and sharing insights on relevant business topics is a win for all of our stakeholders”

The second episode of the Poole Podcast will be released on Mach 1, 2021, and will feature Nathan Goldman, assistant professor of accounting, and Amanda Shumaker, international tax partner at Ernst & Young. Goldman and Shumaker will cover taxation in the U.S. in the 2020s.

The Poole Podcast is released every two weeks on a Monday.
