Robert Sandruck to Lead International Programs at NC State Poole College

Robert Sandruck has been named director of international programs at the North Carolina State University Poole College of Management, announced Dr. Ira R. Weiss, dean of the college.

In his new role, Sandruck will provide leadership and administrative support for the development and execution of international studies opportunities for Poole College students. He will work primarily with the college’s Office of Undergraduate Programs, and also will provide support for international studies components in the college’s Jenkins Graduate School, including its Master of Business Administration, Master of Global Innovation Management and Master of Accounting programs.

“In today’s global economy, it is essential that our students participate in at least one international study opportunity related to their business studies,” Weiss said. “Robert is bringing to this position extensive experience in both student services and international academic programs. We are pleased to have him join Poole College.”

Sandruck most recently was vice president of education and business analyst at the American Society of Echocardiography. He previously was director of several internationally focused executive MBA programs at Duke University and held academic program management and student services roles at Baruch College, City University of New York; University of Scranton; and Bucknell University.

He received his master of education degree in student personnel services from the University of South Carolina and his bachelor’s in economics from Towson University. He lives with his wife and two children in Holly Springs, N.C.
