Bloomberg Businessweek ranks NC State’s Professional MBA Program No. 20 in US

Bloomberg Businessweek ranked the Professional MBA program at NC State’s Jenkins Graduate School of Management number 20 among part-time MBA programs in the United States.

“The top-20 ranking marks a notable jump from number 30 two years ago,” said Dr. Steve Allen, associate dean of NC State’s Jenkins Graduate Management Programs.

Among competitive programs across the United States, NC State ranked tenth in academic quality and earned a letter grade “A” in both teaching and curriculum.  Bloomberg Businessweek also surveyed recent NC State Professional MBA graduates, who reported an average a 24 percent salary increase from when they started the program.

“This recognition of our Professional MBA program as one of the top part-time MBA programs in the US reflects our relentless pursuit to provide students with an innovative MBA education rooted in practical application – and is recognition of the importance of return on investment for the working professional,” Allen said.

“We are particularly proud of our high academic quality ranking and our faculty – who combine their academic backgrounds with real world experience to provide all NC State MBA students with a business education designed for today’s world,” he said.

The Bloomberg Businessweek biennial ranking of part-time MBA programs is based on a survey of recent graduates, an academic quality measure that combines six school-reported data points and a calculation of post-MBA outcomes.

The NC State Jenkins MBA is available in three formats: full-time, profession and professional online.
