Poole College Alumni Respond to Impact of Amazon Purchase of Whole Foods

Among those commenting in this recent Triangle Business Journal article about the purchase of Whole Foods by Amazone are Poole College alumni who were part of the college’s entrepreneurship community in their student days.

  • Mark Saad, CEO of Feelgoodz, graduated with a concentration in entrepreneurship.
  • Tatiana Birgisson, CEO of Mati Energy, a Duke University graduate, worked with the NC State Entrepreneurship Clinic and hired a few of the college’s entrepreneurship graduates for her startup.
  • Neil McTighe, founder of Nellino’s Sauce Company, worked with the NC State Entrepreneurship Clinic and hired several students as interns.
