Two Former NC State Football Players Create A Sports Technology Startup In The Triangle

Former NC State football players Jamelle Eugene and DaJuan Morgan came together to create Gryppers, a sports technology company that creates a product that is halfway between athletic tape and football gloves. The model of the product is patented and has an FDA-approved thermo-reactive technology that decreases moisture and recycles heat. Eugene and Morgan received an NC IDEA grant after conceiving the idea for their company in 2016 and worked on the product in NC State’s Wilson College of Textiles and the Poole Entrepreneurship Clinic.
