Protiviti, NC State ERM Find Talent, Culture Among Top Risks for Business Leaders
As the new decade approaches, NC State’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Initiative and Protiviti released their findings on the top risks business leaders will face in 2020. Their findings come from a survey conducted with over 1,000 board members and C-suite executives from companies in various industries across the globe. The eighth survey completed by Protiviti and NC State found that talent, culture, technology and innovation are among the top concerns beginning in 2020. “As expectations of key stakeholders regarding risk management and oversight remain high, organizations need to offer greater transparency about the nature and magnitude of risks undertaken in executing an organization’s corporate strategy,” said Mark Beasley, professor of accounting and director of the ERM Initiative.
