Rhiannon Williams Joins NC State Executive Education to Help Expand Growing Programs

Rhiannon Williams joins the Poole College of Management’s Executive Education team as the program coordinator.

Williams professional career began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill serving as the reservation manager for the student union’s event services team. There, she was responsible for scheduling, facilitating and ensuring the execution of over 22,000 meetings and events annually held within the Carolina Union and surrounding campus venues. Her team also collaborated with students, departments and non-University affiliates.

As program coordinator, Williams will play a critical role in the delivery, execution and evaluation of programs designed for NC State Executive Education. She will manage program event logistics, faculty and vendor contracts, vendor relations, and program-specific, participant-facing resources.

Williams looked to Poole College as the next step in her professional career. “Throughout all my interactions with Exec Ed, I encountered welcoming, passionate and forward-thinking individuals and was immediately drawn to the team and their programs,” said Williams. “Joining the Executive Education team has not only afforded an opportunity to pursue a career in program management, but also serve on a team committed to their work and delivering programs with meaningful impacts.”

Williams received her bachelor degrees in both management and society and French from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018.

Outside of work, Williams enjoys traveling, trying out new recipes and playing soccer. She can also be found organizing family and friends weekend activities.

“Rhiannon’s expertise and ability to hit the ground running is going to be very helpful,” said Dan McGurrin, director of NC State Executive Education. “Rhiannon is also going to focus most of her time on supporting our growing data analytics programs and her dedication to supporting this growth area will allow us to focus on new development work in our industry-specific ‘Future Leaders’ series.”
