Students Send Their Thanks to Poole College of Management Advisors

Poole College of Management is celebrating Global Advising Appreciation Week from May 3-7 by sending thanks to our incredible academic advisors. Students across departments have shared their thank you messages for their advisors’ impact on their academic career at NC State.

Thank You, Advisors

“Thank you so much for all of your help over the past three years. You have always gone above and beyond to ensure that I was taking the classes I needed and offered me reassurance and guidance when I was struggling. Thank you for sticking with me when I went through many cycles of deciding minors, advice on grading and structuring my schedules each semester. You have truly made my academic career much easier to navigate and I am so thankful for all of your help!”

“Thank you so much for all the undue support you have given me, even when I know you were swamped with other students. You are such a wonderful person and advisor. I enjoy the time we get to talk and cannot begin to tell you how much your support has helped me keep going, when I only wanted to give up.”

“I am so glad that I found you as my advisor. I appreciate your friendly and kind assistance in addressing my doubts during my time at NC State. I found your advice very helpful and I will always be grateful for your time and encouragement.”

“Thank you so much for being an amazing advisor! I truly don’t think I would have had such a smooth transition to NC State or wonderful year without you. Thank you for answering my plethora of questions – no matter how small or silly they were. Thank you so much for not only getting me introduced to Poole and NC State, but also for helping me grow as a student, peer, and leader.”

“I would like to thank my advisor for walking me through this two and half years of college life here at NC State University. You have been very helpful, kind and always ready to help. I really appreciate your effort on helping advance my career, college life and for being one of my favorite advisors.”

“You have helped guide my class decisions every year with great advice from studying abroad to dual credits. You helped me set and reach all of my goals including graduating early. Hopefully, I’ll get to see you next semester for my last semester if not you’ve been the best advisor I could have asked for.”

“Me saying thank you cannot begin to describe how thankful I am to have had you as my academic advisor. From day one, you always supported me with everything I aspired to do and never told me I could not do something but rather guided me on how to get there. At the same time, you were always upfront and honest with me which is something I really appreciated and respected. You truly have had an amazing impact on my academic career and I look forward to staying connected after I graduate.”

“Thank you so much for being there for me these past four years. You were always such a positive light and you always had great words of encouragement and advice for me. I have no doubt that I would not be where I am today without your help. I wish you nothing but the best in the future, and I hope you know that I will keep in touch and come back to visit!”

“Thank you for all your patience and help through my return to NC State. You gave me multiple sessions before I was even re-enrolled to help me walk through the possibility of coming back and graduating. Your guidance made obtaining my degree achievable when I previously viewed it as an impossible mountain to climb. I never would have re-enrolled without your support!”

“You are a such a fantastic, patient, and helpful advisor I have ever met in my college life. You can always reply and answer my emails as soon as possible. Well, lots of words to express my thanks, and long story short, LOVE YOU!”

“Thank you for your help and support during these past few years. You have helped me stay on track and achieve my academic goals, and for that I am forever grateful. I appreciate how much you care for your students and strive to set them up for success within Poole. Your hard work does not go unnoticed.”
