Poole College Recognizes Faculty and Staff Accomplishments from November

The monthly accomplishments series celebrates the achievements of our faculty and staff in and outside of the Poole College of Management.

  • Paul Williams, professor of accounting, was inducted into the Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal APIRA Hall of Fame for his distinguished service contributions to the progress of interdisciplinary accounting research.
  • The Poole IT Team and one IT student consultant, Supriya Krishna, presented at the NC State IT community event held virtually from Nov. 7-17. The presentations showcased the exceptional work and service the IT team here in Poole has delivered and is providing to the college as well as collaboration with other colleges and central OIT. 
  • Chris Hitch, adjunct lecturer in management, innovation and entrepreneurship, is conducting a multi-month leadership development program for a multi-state retail distributor. Additionally he was requested to help a newly formed Department of Defense agency to create a talent and promotion framework for senior leaders.
  • Ellen Frost, associate director of Global Programs, was elected chair of the North Carolina Association of International Educators (NCAIE) for the 2022-23 term.
  • Jon Bohlmann, professor of marketing and innovation, was named Outstanding Reviewer for the Journal of Product Innovation Management for 2021.
  • Roger Mayer, professor of leadership; Leigh Shamblin, director of leadership; Paul Mulvey, professor of human resource management; and James Peters, a doctoral student, have been assisting InHerSight, an organization committed to finding better workplaces for women, to develop questions of interest to practice and academe.
